I didnt go in. Its across the street from where im staying. Theres two italian ladies that stare down people in front. The plants are lovely and its in a perfect central location in acitrezza.

Unfortunately, very few people know about this place!! I live near Aci Trezza and only now after many years did I go to visit this enchanting place, rich in history and memories linked to the past, to our traditions and above all to our Verga 😊 There is the possibility of a guided tour, we were accompanied by a very good and super thorough girl! Go and visit!!!

Truly a beautiful experience, in addition to the beauty of the sea, the flavors of the food, finding a strong and lively cultural reality is not for everyone. Great availability, passion and hospitality on the part of the association that manages the place, always ready to tell and convey the strong relationship with the territory. I recommend visiting the Norman castle of Aci castello and the Casa del Nespolo in Aci Trezza together, you have 3 days to see both, saving a little, after I'll post a photo of the ticket

Beautiful experience, indelible memories of middle school, when Prof. Merlini gave us "Italian" lessons, how can we forget "I Malavoglia" by Verghiana, absolutely worth a visit, the one who gave us the tickets also gave us an excursus cultural on the museum, one room dedicated to the Malavoglia the other dedicated to Visconti's film "La terra trema" was nice and prepared we listened to it with pleasure. The Casa del Nespolo Museum is a small treasure chest that contains the history and popular tradition of the Trezzoto village and the art that it has inspired in past centuries. In the courtyard, where new plants have been planted which will hopefully grow thriving, you can breathe the air of life in the past, made up of hard work that was too often poorly paid. The two rooms conserve the work and daily life objects that accompanied the Trezzoti until the first half of the twentieth century; museum set up in the places that inspired Giovanni Verga to write his novel "I Malavoglia" and which is also dedicated to the neorealist film "La Terra trema - Episodio del mare" by Luchino Visconti, two masterpieces that photographed and consigned to immortality the hard life of fishermen. The cost of the ticket is €2.00, a pittance compared to the incredible cultural value it represents.

Really interesting experience. Inside the Museum there are collected objects that reconstruct the history and traditions of a population of fishermen: Aci Trezza, narrated by Verga in I Malavoglia, and again in the film La Terra Trema. This is how the Casa del Nespolo becomes a precious cultural testimony

It was a very beautiful and evocative experience, completely unexpected. In fact, we didn't know if it was open but in the morning we were lucky enough to meet Mrs. Rita from the Fantasticheria Cultural Association, at Verga's house. She told us that in the afternoon she would open the Nespolo house to a group of students and that we were welcome too. There we were surrounded by his kindness and professionalism and we learned many interesting things. Highly recommended place.
